2. Re-election of management committee
- Slate of: Martin Pollard (Chairman), Rich Holme (Vice chairman), Paul Miller (Treasurer), Adam Robbins (Fund raising officer), Andy Parkinson (Sponsorship officer)
- Slate voted in – RH explained that we can co-opt people in if required
3. Financial update (on behalf of Finance committee) - PM/RH
- Current state of finances – balance of £1,800
- Likely costs during season include £350 cutting grass, £250 blue flame bill, £1,500 bullocksteads, £1,400 Benson Park (insurance+bills). Total expenditure minimum £3500 (plus any training and misc costs)
- Subscriptions to remain same (£40 workers, £30 students/unumployed, £20 for onl Wed students), deadlines set as Sept for workers, Oct for students. No pay no play. AR to co-ordinate this. Game fees to be £2 students, £3 workers. Training to cost £3 a session, £5 for two weeks or £30 for 16 weeks.
4. Updates from Social committee, sponsorship and Grants – RH/AR/AP
- Social events – early Feb for race night Glenn Kent to arrange?
- Presentation night and possibly quiz to be arranged at later date.
- Post match meet up – Royal George in Brunton Park for all 5 teams at moment
- Sponsorship - U-Salon have provided a kit, James Drake and YHN may also ofer options.
- Pick sales – each team must nominate someone. This is very important – AR ill again co-ordinate this. Names to be given to him.
- Grant application update – RH provided update.
5. Team/player issues (all managers to update if required) - All
- Training will be Tuesdays 7:30pm – 9pm (ish) for all teams.
- All players MUST have Garnett socks and shorts – will ask Steve Cook to do this.
6. Volunteers needed
- Meeting with tennis club re- club house development (other issues)
- Social event organiser for each team – names to RH please.
