Profile: The rest is history, after a couple of hatricks for the Wednesday C team in lopsided defeats he was fast tracked into the 1st team where he has remained ever since bar a spell in the Alliance Premier with Benfield and Winlaton. Danny proved he could score at that level but his heart never left the Green and Black and he was warmly welcomed back. Danny holds every goal scoring record in club history including 9 in one game and has been Golden Boot winner 6 times to go with two player of the year awards. Danny’s goals played a big part in the club’s rise from Corinthian Division 2 to Alliance Division 1.More important than his goal exploits Danny has always been a great club man who fully appreciates everything about playing for the club. At various times he has run the predictor, cut and marked the pitch and even managed the 1st team successfully for the latter part of the 2009-10 season.
