TOM SKILBECK
Debut: 1998/99
Position: Striker
Previous Senior clubs: None
How he signed for Green and Black:
Profile: Joined the club as fresh faced 17 year old B team winger but has matured into prolific goal scorer, becoming only the fourth player in the modern era to net 100 goals. Due to cricket, studying away at Univeristy and his rock and roll career Skilly has rarely played a full season but remains a valuable back up player. A vice president of the club and self styled free kick specialist.
Managers Comments:“Skilly is a bit like Maldini – been around for decades but looks like he’s in his early 20’s. Always liable to get a bit of stick from the opposite thanks to his choice of headgear when playing. He normally has the last laugh though, as he lets his football do the talking. Never short of goals from open play or free kicks.”
