Garnett tried to pass the ball and gradually took control and Skilly (Tom Skilbeck)won a penalty just before half time but Danny's (Sherwood) attempt at placing it in bottom corner was well saved. Early in the second half Garnett switched to 451 with Chris Pearce coming on and Raj (Paul Menton) going in the hole, it made a big difference. Raj won a penalty after a great early through ball from Pearce. Danny smashed home the penalty after they had tried everything they could to put him off (2 players in succession getting treatment, moving the ball etc). Trigger (David Robinson) and Webby (TomWebb) were immense at the back and bar one comdey moment, so was Harty. Mark Menton had his best game of season and Shaun McGill was strong too. Pearce hit the cross bar twice and he and Mullan came very close in goalmouth scrambles before Pearce was again involved in playing in Lee Armstrong who beat his man and pulled a good cross back for Micky Cave to drive in low form the edge of the box.
